Historic Preservation and of Residential Entrance for 640 Broadway - 640 Broadway is Classical Revival style building in the NOHO Historic district designed by DeLomos & Cordes built in 1896-97. The building designed for manufacturing has since been renovated for residential use. GHS’s proposal for the main residential entrance draws from the exiting historic elements of the building and district. The proposal includes masonry entrance scrolls, masonry cornice, custom wood door with integrated frame lighting and intercom, as well as bracket signage and etched transom glass indicating the address of the residential entrance.
