110 Clinton Street is an exciting study for the development of a 17 story residential building in the Historic Brooklyn Heights Neighborhood. GHS Architects’ proposal includes the addition of 15 stories of residential units on top of the existing 2 story historic base. The glass tower is set back from the face of the historic base, allowing for the tower to rise into the sky while respecting the historic character of the neighborhood. The innovated approach to the design of the tower includes a rotation of the buildings core and creating balconies at each level looking out onto Manhattan’s Skyline. This project showcases GHS Architects’ exceptional approach to planning and development in New York City.
